This role ensures successful project delivery by partnering closely with internal teams and client stakeholders while maintaining high standards for quality, client satisfaction, and adherence to timelines and budgets.The Implementation Manager serves as the central point of coordination across departments, aligning resources, communication, and workflows to ensure smooth project launches and successful outcomes. This role requires strong project management skills, healthcare industry knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple complex implementations simultaneously.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & ExecutionLead end-to-end implementation of client projects from kickoff through completion. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Ensure projects remain aligned with scope, resources, budgets, and timelines. Identify required resources and coordinate internal teams to support successful project delivery. Client & Internal CollaborationServe as the primary point of coordination between internal teams and client stakeholders. Facilitate internal and client-facing meetings including project kickoffs, status updates, and milestone reviews. Establish clear communication processes to ensure transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Operational Coordination Coordinate internal activities required for successful implementation, including:System access requests EMR navigation support Client education and training sessions (remote or onsite) Audit staffing coordination in partnership with Recruiting and HR Manage project logistics including scheduling onsite or virtual engagements and coordinating team participation. Reporting & Project TrackingImplement and maintain project tracking tools including dashboards, spreadsheets, and reporting systems. Partner with internal teams to develop analytics and reporting tools using platforms such as PowerBI or other reporting systems. Provide regular updates to internal leadership on project status, risks, and performance outcomes. Project Completion & Continuous ImprovementLead project closeout activities including deliverables, client feedback surveys, and invoicing coordination. Conduct project reconciliation reviews to assess outcomes, pricing accuracy, and opportunities for improvement. Identify opportunities to enhance project management tools, processes, and implementation workflows. QualificationsRequired ExperienceMinimum 3 years of project management experience implementing technology or service-based solutions. Experience managing multiple concurrent client implementations. Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects involving cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. Preferred ExperienceExperience in healthcare consulting, clinical documentation improvement (CDI), coding, or revenue cycle management. Experience leading client-facing implementations in healthcare environments, including hospitals or health systems. Familiarity with EHR/EMR platforms such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or similar systems. Experience developing and managing project plans, timelines, and milestone tracking using tools such as Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, Jira, or similar platforms. Experience facilitating executive-level project meetings, kickoff sessions, and performance reviews. Education & CertificationsBachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Project Management, or a related field preferred. PMP, CAPM, or other project management certification preferred.
