Inspector/Packer -Weekend Shift (Friday through Sunday)

Inspector/Packer Full time - Flexible Packaging Division (WITH $1,000 SIGN - ON BONUS) As a family company, we treat all our employees as family. Position summary: Complete in process inspections and pack finished goods according to specification for shipment Schedules: Weekend Shift - Friday through Sunday 6 AM to 6 PM Qualifications required: High school diploma or equivalent Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Essential functions and responsibilities: Conduct in process visual inspections Identify and Record Quality defects Report Quality problems to necessary personnel Assist with manufacturing equipment set-ups and load machines Box, verify, and palletize according to specification Make and label boxes, separate finished product and scrap Follow all quality and food safety policies and procedures to ensure CDF products meet all applicable customer, regulatory and industry standards. Replenish supplies and clean area at the end of the shift Extra duties as required Must follow all company policies and procedures Success factors/job competencies: Good communication skills Attention to detail Good attitude Team player Physical Demands: While performing duties of the job, incumbent is routinely required to stand, walk and sit. Employees are required to routinely use hands and arms for various product related activities talk and hear. The employees must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. Skills required: Experience running a web design machine preferable Mechanically inclined is preferrable Work overtime as needed Ability to work well with others and be a team player Good communication skills Work environment: the noise level within the work environment is moderate to high.
