Adjunct Professor, Undergraduate Education (Online)

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Works closely with the School of Continuing, Online and Professional Education (SCOPE) instructional design team to update and develop online classesChecks content as well as program mapping of courses through the appropriate division chair before they are offered onlineFacilitates the online courses he/she has developed when they are offered online.Interacts with distance learning students, answering their questions and evaluating their workSubmits grades to the Registrar's Office at the end of each course he/she facilitatesUpdates his/her online course as needed to keep them currentParticipates in Annual Review Interview by April 30 with the Dean, about his teaching for the previous academic year REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Knowledge of and practical experience with educationBasic computer knowledge and the ability to learn applicable softwareGood oral and written communication skillsTeam Player: works well with colleaguesMasters in EducationEd. D. in administration or related field preferredExperience teaching and/or teaching online preferred An applicant must be a born-again Christian who has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
