The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising project execution, ensuring accurate cost estimates, reviewing blueprints and specifications, and upholding on-site safety. This position requires travel to various job sites.Responsibilities and Duties:Install and repair underground pipes, fittings, and valves of various materials and sizes for storm or sanitation sewers, drainage systems, and water mains.Employ pipe lasers and transits to precisely position pipes and fittings in trenches.Provide hand signals to equipment operators.Utilize hand tools to backfill trenches.Measure, cut, and conduct leak tests on pipes.Ensure strict adherence to job site safety protocols.Maintain alignment with project plans and schedules to meet production targets.Develop a prioritized work plan for the crew based on project requirements.Conduct equipment checks to ensure proper working conditions.Prepare necessary reports as required.Possess knowledge of heavy equipment operations and maintenance.Demonstrate experience in heavy civil construction, particularly in water/wastewater projects.Understand pipe laying techniques for water mains, sanitary sewers, and storm sewers, with the ability to interpret plans and specifications.Preferred knowledge of trench safety, rigging/signaling, and experience with ductile, steel, and PVC pipes.Willingness to travel as needed for multi-state projects.Benefits and Perks:J.
