Non CDL Shuttle Driver
Position Summary As a member of VPNE's growing transportation division, the role of the Non-CDL Shuttle Driver is to safely transport employees and customers from parking facilities to their designated areas. The CDL Shuttle Driver will always provide exceptional service and safety and ensure the vehicle is cleaned and maintained and meets company standards and brand representation.Hours: Mon - Fri 3 PM - 7 PMResponsibilitiesMaintain safety standards at all times while transporting employees to their designated areas.Ensure the vehicle meets all safety requirements and update the maintenance schedule.Follow all traffic signs/laws and maintain posted speed limits.Ensure all passengers are authorized to board the Shuttle.Maintain a set schedule to ensure delays are at a minimum.Ensure each passenger has a positive experience and that any issues are resolved or escalated to a member of authority promptly.Extend the Exceptional Care philosophy at all times.Inform and relay all necessary information, concisely and professionally, to Managers and passengers, whether in person or via Shuttle radio.Years of Experience: Entry LevelLanguage Skills: Proficient in English, both verbally and writtenEducation Requirements: High School Diploma/GEDLicenses required: Driver's LicenseCertificates required: Updated DOT Medical Clearance Card; DPU CertificationRequirements:Be able to sit for long periodsBe able to walk short distancesPossess the manual dexterity to operate a Shuttle bus safelyStrong sense of customer serviceAbility to lift a minimum of 50 poundsBe at least 18 years of ageBe able and willing to smile during every customer interaction with passengersMaintain uniform standards while around the accountBe able to pass a criminal background check and drug testDriving record must meet company standardsAbility to successfully pass company-issued driving testAbility to create relationships with customersTime management & problem-solving skills
