Dispatch Coordinator

Summary Under the direct supervision of the Director of Operations (or Manager in their absence), this position is responsible for providing support for various departments within the warehouse. In addition, this role provides an additional level of support to customers to ensure a smooth transition between the sales and delivery steps. You will represent the company in a professional manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Confirm and schedule deliveries. Collects and researching all CODs before deliveries. Instruct customers to have their room ready for our delivery team. Discuss any obstacles that we might encounter at delivery with the Delivery Supervisor. Receives call list from receiving, and schedules deliveries and pick-ups with customers. Accepts payments over the phone and selects sales for posting at the end of the day. Provide excellent customer service. Follow all safety standards. Utilize Podium for customer pickups and updating customers in a timely manner. Demonstrate exemplary time management skills in all tasks and be proactive in seeking out additional work during slower times. Coordinates with Service Department if items need to be picked up. Scrub “complete for delivery” with Director of Operations.
