Director, Communications, EnergyLocation: New York, NY (hybrid)About The RoleWe are seeking a strategic, dynamic leader for the newly created role of Director of Communications, Energy . This is a pivotal position during a period of significant growth and investment for our Energy business.Dow Jones Energy is undergoing a multi-year transformation to grow market share across price reporting, news, research and events in the energy and environmental commodities space. As a key member of the global communications team, you will be responsible for building the communications infrastructure, strategy and narrative for this critical part of the Dow Jones portfolio from the ground up.Reporting to theHead of B2B Communications, you will serve as the dedicated communications partner for Energy leadership and subject matter experts. While this is an individual contributor role, you will act as a "player-coach," orchestrating resources from across our global communications team to execute high-impact campaigns. Your first year will focus on establishing the operational playbook, supporting the transformation of the business which will become a leader in the energy conversation globally.You will work in our Midtown Manhattan office 3 days each week.You WillArchitect and launch a comprehensive global communications strategy for Dow Jones Energy, aligning messaging across diverse sectors including oil, chemicals, sustainability, renewables and electric vehicles (EVs).Identify, train and position key subject matter experts and business leaders as industry-leading voices for market-moving insights.
