Material Handler/Forklift Operator (1st shift)

Job Description We are seeking and looking to fill a Warehouse Material Handler/Forklift Operator who will join our fortune 500 growing production team in Imlay City, MI. This is a 1st shift, 6am-2:30pm Monday-Friday schedule with OT on Saturdays during our busy season. Pay begins at $17.00 with weekly pay. Warehouse experience is required and you must be willing to work inside and outside. We offer weekly pay and opportunities for growth!Requirements And OverviewResponsible for performs a safety check of the forklift to ensure it is safe to operate.Shoveling, sweeping and completing general warehouse cleaningStacking 40lbs bags onto pallets, assisting with wrapping palletsChecks fluid levels- For oil, water and fuel before operating the lift-Ensures the packaging lines have empty pallets available and informs the supervisor of the pallet inventory-Removes palletized bags from the production lines and places them on the stretch-wrapperOperates the stretch-wrapper and changes the stretch film as required-Places palletized bags in inventory and ensuring they are located in the proper rows storing them neatly without damaging other inventory-Actively participates in plant cleanliness by restacking, picking-up trash and debris, and washing their equipmentAssist with Material Handling duties as assignedAssist with general warehouse cleaning, including sweeping and taking out trashHours and Pay1st shift - 6am-2:30pm Mon-Fri $17.00Work PerksWhat we do for you (just to list a few cool ones): Offer extremely competitive benefits including: Health, Dental and Vision coverage.
