Forklift Operator - Dry Warehouse

Overview: Under general supervision, Lift Truck Operator will ensure safe and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of food products and/or packaging materials utilizing equipment including, but not limited to, Raymond stand up forklifts, Raymond stand up dock loaders and various sit down LP trucks.Location: Harrisonburg, CPAD8 Dry WarehouseResponsibilitiesPromote safe work environment through personal actionsLoad and unload trucks and containers using equipment provided in safe and efficient mannerCheck and count freight for accuracy and/or damageTake inventory as neededDirect product to correct area in warehouseClear work area of loose wood and plastic, sweep area as neededReport faulty equipment, damage to racks, and other safety hazards to supervisorOther duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum 1 year sit down forklift experience in warehouse or manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with RFIDFamiliarity with Warehouse Management SystemsStrong teamwork skillsSelf-motivatorMust be able to work overtime, days and/or evenings and weekends.Ability to read numbers and labelsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to pay close attention to detail and meet deadlinesAbility to safely lift up to 60 lbs. frequentlyAdditional NotesOnly qualified candidates with related experience will be considered.Pre-employment background check, drug test, and physical are required**All applicants must complete an application to be considered.
