The school community values diversity, inclusion, and equitable access to education.Role Description The CLDE Teacher will provide daily instruction and support to culturally and linguistically diverse learners, with a focus on English language development and academic content. This on-site role, based in Lakewood, CO, includes planning and delivering engaging lessons, differentiating instruction, and using a variety of instructional strategies to meet students’ language and learning needs. The teacher will assess student progress, maintain accurate records, and use data to adjust instruction and provide targeted interventions. Responsibilities also include collaborating with colleagues and families, participating in professional development, and contributing to a positive, inclusive school culture. The CLDE Teacher will support students’ social-emotional growth and help them navigate academic pathways toward graduation and postsecondary opportunities. Salary range: $42,000-$68,000Qualifications Strong foundation in Education, with experience teaching culturally and linguistically diverse learners.Proficiency in Lesson Planning and curriculum design aligned to standards and language development goals.Demonstrated Teaching and Training skills, including differentiation and classroom management.Effective Communication skills with students, families, and colleagues, both in writing and verbally.Relevant state teaching license or eligibility for licensure in CLDE/ELL or related endorsement (or willingness to obtain, if applicable).Experience working with English language learners, immigrant communities, or similar student populations is highly preferred.Ability to use educational technology and data systems to support instruction and monitor student progress.Commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive teaching practices.
