Bartender Job DescriptionOur company is growing and preparing for our busy year. We are hiring part-time bartenders for mostly evening and weekend events. If you are looking for an exciting place to work, please take a look at the list of qualifications below and apply today.Responsibilities for BartenderInspects all areas of responsibility for safety and maintenance needsLearn prices of all drinks as well as become familiar with menu and recipesPreparing and serving beverages following standard practices and recipesReplenishing as needed in accordance with procedureCoordinating beverage service with Event Manager and cocktail servers to maintain an efficient service flowAttending departmental and company meetings, as requiredProfessional bar display at events, and breakdownHandling cash and POS system, accurately maintaining drawerBar-closing list at end of every shift/ house venue inventory at end of shift; work with Event Manager to provide final cash dropQualifications for Bartender1 year or more of bartending experience requiredMust be available to work on weekends. Evening availability preferred as wellMust meet minimum age for preparing and serving alcoholic beveragesPresent the guest service check with every transaction and ensure payment is received, or hold credit card for a tabWhile performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally exposed to all weather conditionsBasic math and cashier skillsAble to logically and independently plan, organize, and complete workMust have excellent interpersonal skills including tact, patience, courtesy, and problem solving ability. Must conduct themselves as a professional at all times with every interactionReliable transportation required, must have own form of transportation; ability to drive large vanProfessional attire uniform provided by company, presentable at all times, personal hygiene and appearance
