We operate with an ownership mindset and a focus on building high-performance companies from the ground up.The OpportunityWe are hiring a Head of Talent & Organizational Strategy to architect and build the teams behind multiple businesses.This is not a traditional HR role. This is a builder role—focused on designing organizations, leading recruiting, and ensuring each business is staffed with high-performing, cohesive teams.You will work directly with leadership to turn business strategy into fully built, functional companies.What You’ll Do - Design Organizations- Build org charts across multiple business lines - Define roles, structure, and functional coverage - Ensure each business operates as a complete, self-sufficient unit Lead Recruiting- Own end-to-end hiring across all functions - Drive hiring for senior and mission-critical roles - Build pipelines across marketing, sales, investment, and operations Build High-Performance Teams- Evaluate talent for both capability and team fit - Construct teams with complementary skill sets and personalities - Ensure the right balance of operators, strategists, and executors Scale Talent Systems- Create repeatable recruiting processes - Standardize interview and evaluation frameworks - Build onboarding and integration systems Partner with Leadership- Translate business goals into hiring roadmaps - Advise on talent strategy and market insights - Play a central role in shaping how each business scales What We’re Looking For- 10+ years of experience in recruiting and operational leadership - Proven track record of building teams from scratch - Experience hiring across multiple functions (sales, marketing, finance, operations) - Strong judgment and instinct for talent- Background in venture capital, private equity, hedge funds, or high-growth startups is a plus - High ownership mindset and ability to operate in an unstructured environment Why This Role- Build multiple companies simultaneously - Direct impact on how teams are designed and scaled - Work closely with leadership on high-stakes decisions - High visibility, high accountability, high upside Additional Details- Full-time, in-office role based in Los Angeles If you’ve built teams, understand how organizations actually function, and want to play a central role in scaling multiple businesses, we’d like to connect.
