We offer competitive benefits, 401K, PTO, flexible holiday policy and education reimbursement.Reports to Quality SupervisorKey Responsibilities:Maintain accurate and up-to-date records as required by the applicable specificationsPerform semi-complex inspection of components using a wide variety of measuring instruments such as micrometer, ID/OD mics, thread gauges, protractor, height gauge, optical comparator and profilometer to determine acceptance or rejection of parts and/or parts surface roughness/finishPerform first article inspections to customer drawings and specificationsUse mathematics to convert blueprint dimension and tolerancesWork within the guidelines of drawings, schematics, blueprints, route sheets, travelers, quality directives, technical engineering specifications, customer's requirements and military standardsPerform inspections to applicable specifications within the assembly departmentAssist customer/government source inspectors as necessaryPerform complete inspections in accordance with the applicable specifications, standards and other contractual documentsInterpret, evaluate, and document inspection results in accordance with approved proceduresDetermine acceptance or rejection after inspection of partsAssist with the investigation of customer returnsAble to pass a visual acuity testA general understanding of customer specifications or ability to learnAS9102 experience beneficialAble to read blueprintsQualificationsBasic Qualification:High School diploma or GED equivalentProficient in MS Office including Excel and WordERP/ MRP experience1-2 years Inspection experienceEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
