As a Workforce Development Coordinator, you will lead employment services, support job readiness, and build strong employer partnerships to connect veterans with career opportunities.This role is ideal for someone with experience in workforce development, career coaching, and program leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operations of the Workforce Development program and Career CenterSupervise and support Workforce Development staff to meet program goalsProvide career case management to veterans facing employment barriers such as legal, educational, or health challengesDevelop individualized employment plans and track client progressMaintain accurate case notes and documentation for reporting and complianceAnalyze labor market data to guide clients toward viable career pathwaysBuild and maintain relationships with employers, HR professionals, and community partnersIdentify job opportunities through outreach, networking, and business development activitiesConduct job development including cold outreach, follow-ups, and employer engagementFacilitate job readiness training, workshops, and retention support for clientsCoordinate career fairs, job clubs, and workforce programs such as on-the-job trainingMatch clients to job opportunities and support placement into employmentPrepare reports and track outcomes for workforce programs and fundersAssist with proposals, budgets, and program development effortsEnsure all client files include skills assessments and employment documentationDeliver presentations to employers and community stakeholders about programs and servicesQualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Social Services, or related field preferred or 4+ years of relevant experience in workforce development or employment servicesMinimum of 2 years of supervisory experienceExperience in workforce development, job placement, or career servicesStrong knowledge of employment resources, labor market trends, and job readiness strategiesExcellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office and data tracking systemsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamValid driver's license and ability to meet insurance requirementsPreferred QualificationsExperience working with veterans, homeless populations, or individuals with barriers to employmentExperience in employer outreach, business development, or recruitingBackground in workforce programs funded by Department of Labor or similar agenciesWhy Join U.S.VETSOpportunity to directly impact veterans' employment and economic stabilityLeadership role with community and employer engagementMission-driven organization focused on long-term outcomes
