Evening Housekeeping

We are looking for a Evening Housekeeper to join our team and provide excellent customer service to our hotel guests. If you’re interesting in kickstarting your career in the hotel industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience for our guests during their stay with us. Responsibilities Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with guests, vendors, co-workers and management. Responsible for the cleanliness of all public and back of the house areas of the hotel; entrances, including glass doors, windows; Men’s and Ladies Rest Rooms; etc. Also, to perform other miscellaneous jobs as requested by department manager. Maintenance and cleanliness of all equipment used. Also, to be hospitable to our guest and to other associates. Responsible for the cleaning of carpets, organization and stocking of store rooms and linen closets Remove dirty linen from cleaning carts or designated area and deliver to laundry as assigned Remove trash from cleaning carts or designated area and deposit in dumpsters Removal of snow, salting walk ways weather permitting Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms. Follow company and department safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment Protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers Address guests’ service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner. Welcome and acknowledge each and every guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting. Assist other associates to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Report missing hotel property and damages to hotel areas to manager Skills Prior cleaning experience preferred Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products Good physical health and stamina Flexibility to work in shifts (weekends included and evening shifts) Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards Excellent organization skills Ability to follow instructions High school diploma is a plus Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $18.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Shift: 8 hour shift Evening shift People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Application Question(s): Are you available to work weekends?
