Machine Operator — A Shift Location: Canton, MA 02021 Pay: $20.00–$23.00 per hour + 10% shift differential Shift: A Shift Hours: 6:00 AM–6:00 PM Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & alternating Thursday Direct Hire with the company Now Hiring — Machine Operator Zing Recruiting is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join a manufacturing team in Canton, Massachusetts. The Machine Operator will be responsible for safely operating production equipment, maintaining quality standards, supporting machine setup and changeovers, and ensuring efficient production. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently. Set up, adjust, operate, and clean machinery according to established procedures. Perform basic troubleshooting and report equipment issues as needed. Monitor production processes and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency. Inspect products to ensure they meet established quality standards. Safely move and stage materials using a forklift or other equipment, as required. Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Communicate equipment, quality, safety, or production issues to supervisors. Complete production records and documentation accurately. Work effectively with team members to meet production goals. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred or required, depending on the position. Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred. Experience with plastics, coating, lamination, printing, extrusion, or similar production environments is a plus. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Basic mechanical and technical aptitude. Comfortable operating computerized or touchscreen production equipment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in varying temperatures and manufacturing environments. Willingness to work overtime and adjust schedules as needed. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
