Mechanical Engineer

NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a rapidly growing industrial solutions organization to identify a Mechanical Engineer in Grapevine, TX. This role is 100% onsite and will support the design and fabrication of mechanical assemblies, structural components, and packaged systems. This position is ideal for a mechanical engineer who enjoys seeing designs move from CAD to the shop floor. The right candidate will have strong sheet metal and structural fabrication experience, solid AutoCAD skills, and the ability to create practical designs that can be efficiently manufactured and assembled. Required: * Hands-on mechanical design experience with sheet metal components and assemblies * Strong understanding of structural fabrication, including steel, welding, supports, frames, or similar fabricated components * Strong AutoCAD experience with the ability to create detailed engineering and fabrication drawings * Experience translating engineering concepts into manufacturable designs and working directly with fabrication or production teams * Ability to create and interpret detailed drawings, dimensions, tolerances, assembly documentation, and related engineering specifications Preferred: * Experience designing structural frames, equipment enclosures, packaged systems, or similar industrial assemblies * Experience with SolidWorks, Inventor, or other 3D mechanical design software * Knowledge of laser cutting, machining, welding, material optimization, and other fabrication processes * Experience creating BOMs, cut sheets, weld callouts, and engineering change documentation * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is a plus _NextStep Recruiting provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants regardless of race, color, or applicable state and local laws governing nondiscrimination in employment in every location where the company has facilities._ Work Location: In person
