Hospice/Palliative Medicine Physician

A northern Michigan hospital system is seeking a Board-Certified, MI licensed Hospice/Palliative Care Physician available to provide locum tenens coverage.Shifts needed are 24hr call, for 7 day blocks, Tuesday-Tuesday. Some flexibility will be offered depending on provider availability. Call coverage consists of covering an home hospice service, inpatient palliative consults, and outpatient palliative care clinic. Additional Information:Intermittent dates starting March 2026-June 2026Specific needs include March 3 - 9th, March 17th-23rd, March 31st-April 6th, April 14-20th, April 28th-May 4th, with more TBD442-Bed Teaching Hosptial, Level II Trauma CenterAvg number of calls per 12 hr day is 10. Avg number of calls per 12hr night is 1.Average inpatient consult service census is 12-18 patients. Patients are split between physician and an advance practice provider on the inpatient service.EMR - CernerOffering a competitive Daily Rate. Travel Reimbursement for airfare, lodging, mileage reimbursement or rental car available. Complimentary Medical Malpractice Coverage Provided. We pay weekly via direct deposit.
