And with over 500 5-star google reviews, we are very good at it!Position Summary: The Audiologist will be responsible for performing comprehensive diagnostic testing, hearing aid evaluation, selection, and fitting, patient counseling, and follow-up care. Our practice focuses on treating hearing loss primarily in an adult population.If you want mentorship/guidance as you work side by side with the owner who is an experienced Audiologist, this is a friendly and fun practice to build your career. They will be comfortable and thrive working independently some days alone in the clinic and interested in taking on a rewarding leadership role.JOB FUNCTIONS: Administers Diagnostic Tests Performs full audiological diagnostic evaluations, primarily for the diagnosis and treatment of hearing lossPerforms tympanometry, speech in noise testing, real-ear measurement, and tinnitus evaluationsInterprets test results and provides reporting to physicians and other medical professionalsAnalyzes case history and knowledgeable of implicationsHearing Aid Evaluation and FittingEasily counsels patients regarding test results and gains a complete understanding of the patient’s hearing needs and lifestyle to develop a customized hearing care planPerforms selection, programming, and verification of the appropriate hearing aid technology to best meet the patient’s individual needsProvides ongoing management including follow-up and education, hearing aid checks and adjustments, repairs, and cleanings as necessary to maintain ongoing patient relationshipsAssists in Professional and Community OutreachIn addition to professional responsibilities, the Audiologist will be part of a team engaging in marketing outreach and growing positive relationships with colleagues, vendors, fellow healthcare practitioners, and community organizations.
