In this role, you will be responsible for ingesting PDF contract data into structured JSON formats, developing robust multi-tiered applications, and translating complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions. You will serve as a technical lead on challenging projects, owning the full delivery lifecycle from design through documentation, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure your solutions integrate seamlessly within the broader system architecture. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality, well-documented software.Responsibilities:Design, develop, implement, test, document, and deliver large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications, tools, systems, and servicesIngest and parse PDF contract data and transform it into structured JSON data formatsDevelop applications using multi-threaded and distributed programming techniques in Java and/or C++Utilize JDBC, SQL, Object Oriented design, design patterns, Oracle, and middleware messaging systems within a Linux environmentAssist in gathering and analyzing business and functional requirements and translate them into detailed technical specificationsArchitect robust, scalable, and supportable solutions that align with the overall system architectureOwn the full delivery of entire system components or applications and serve as technical lead on complex engineering projectsApply best practice engineering standards throughout the software development lifecycleProduce comprehensive and usable software documentationSkills:Proficiency in Java, C#, or C++Fullstack development capabilities with flexibility in front-end or back-end emphasisMulti-threaded and distributed programmingJDBC, SQL, and Oracle database integrationObject Oriented design and design patternsMiddleware messaging systemsLinux development environmentTypescript (preferred)React (preferred)AWS Cloud experience (preferred)Version control using Git (preferred)CI/CD pipeline experience (preferred)Database management (preferred)Experience building AI Agents (preferred)Experience:4 or more years of professional software development experience2 or more years of experience in system architecture and designThis posting is for a contract assignment with Tundra Technical Solutions to provide services to Amazon.The pay range that Tundra in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $82/hour - $87/hour.Tundra’s benefits offering includes optional medical, dental, vision, retirement benefits, and a New Child Benefit.
