We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold aircraft.This position is onsite at Bell's Drive System Center (DSC) in Grand Prairie, Texas.1stShift (630AM-4:00PM) - Will have mandatory OT weekend shift (rotation typically once a month every 4-6 weeks). This position will supervise employees at Plant 1 and Plant 11.Front Line Leader - Tooling Service DepartmentBring your experience to support a team that's defining tooling excellence that thrills our customers and redefine the way the world flies.This role will be an integral part of the team, helping execute day-to-day.Responsible for the overall execution and performance of an assigned area.What you'll be doing as a Front Line Leader - Tooling Service:Responsible for general assigning, managing and directing of the daily tool fabrication department activities of up to 25 union covered employees within their assigned area to attain economy of operations, maximize throughput, and ensure profitable production, repair and maintenance of production tooling.Responsible for driving performance, safety, quality of work, managing cost, and managing employee relations.Managing performance of employees when necessary, including performance evaluation and correction steps when needed.Manage in accordance with the local production union Collective Bargaining Agreement.Metrics driven accountability for performance: TAKT metrics, earned hours, efficiency, schedule, overhead, and overtime charges.Achieve objectives in a matrix work environment and work effectively with multiple functions (such as Supply Chain, Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Quality, etc.).QualificationsSkills You Bring to This Role:High school diploma or GED required.
