Facilitates group programming sessions in areas such as anger management, preventing violence, and critical thinking.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Program Facilitator delivers gender-responsive and trauma-informed programming using curriculum-based group sessions.Utilizes evidence-based practices to enhance participant engagement and motivation.The Program Facilitator conducts participant program orientations and intakes.Maintains group rosters, attendance records, and documentation of progress.As appropriate, assists participants in planning for release to the community.Assists in the coordination of participant program schedules to ensure that all programming needs are met.Performs other duties as assigned.QualificationsMinimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in social sciences or related field; or possess a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) designation or equivalent and a minimum of three (3) years of qualifying experience.Previous experience as a facilitator / educator / group moderator with the criminal justice population.Valid driver's license and access to an operable vehicle.Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal skills.Knowledgeable and comfortable when discussing difficult topics.Comfortable and effective in dealing with conflict.Extensive organizational skills and pay attention to detail.Flexible schedule as hours may vary each week, to include evening sessions.GEO Reentry Services LLC.J-18808-Ljbffr
