Builds and maintains the infrastructure and systems necessary to consistently ensure the timely delivery of quality products. Identifies and addresses any issues with equipment performance. Audits, monitors, and determines the quality of manufacturing processes and/or outputs against defined internal and regulatory standards. Reports and troubleshoots manufacturing process deviations and defects in finished goods Conducts tests on materials or samples to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.Required QualificationsRequired education and experience:Vocational/Technical Training Degree and 2-5 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience Preferred QualificationsPreferred education and experience:Associate's Degree Discipline/Major:Technical training preferred Knowledge, skills & abilities:Technical expertise. Ability to identify and seek needed information. Research skills. Problem-solving skills.Physical RequirementsRequires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities. Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds. May need to stand for long periods of time. Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery. May be requested to work a different shift. Must be willing to work outside normal business hours as required.
