Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician will perform routine and emergency maintenance on apartments, common areas, and building systems, including minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs. Responsibilities include completing work orders, performing preventive maintenance, inspecting units and systems, and assisting with unit turns and move-in/move-out preparations. The role also involves maintaining clean and safe work areas, supporting groundskeeping and seasonal tasks, and coordinating with property management to ensure timely, high-quality service for residents. The Maintenance Technician will interact professionally with residents and vendors, follow safety guidelines, and accurately document all work performed.Qualifications Strong skills in Maintenance & Repair, including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance service.Experience with Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance in residential or similar property settings.Ability to perform Troubleshooting for building systems and apartment maintenance issues.Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance practices for HVAC, mechanical systems, and facility equipment.High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance or a related trade preferred.Previous maintenance experience in multifamily housing, facilities, or commercial properties is highly beneficial.Ability to lift and carry moderate weights, use hand and power tools safely, and work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.Strong customer service, communication, and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple work orders.Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to occasional after-hours emergencies as needed.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, as required by property operations.
