If you share our motivations and passion in research, come join us! Primary PurposeThe President Biopharma Operations is responsible for efficiently defining and executing the biopharma book of work across all therapeutic areas and all geographics for Emmes.  They are accountable for defining and optimizing the staffing model of all operational resources in support of biopharma portfolio delivery, leveraging the full geographic presence of Emmes.  They are accountable for effectively planning operational strategies and ensuring that our proposals reflect and communicate these strategies.  They are accountable for managing client satisfaction through proactive customer success measurement and management.  They will lead the global clinical operations, project management, safety, regulatory and all other associated operational groups that partner together to delivery our pipeline.  They are accountable for partnering with Veridix leadership to identify technology/data science opportunities, and to integrate them into business processes and technology roadmaps. This role represents the operational leadership for the Biopharma and Public-Private-Partnership books of work for Emmes - defining the resourcing model, capabilities, and operational execution model to effectively deliver clinical research programs for clients. Leading, engaging, and inspiring the global biopharma operational team, ensuring there is clear delineation of roles and responsibilities and effective allocation of resources from the right countries/hubs.Continue to build on the roadmap for the ongoing growth of the Biopharma Operations team, including embedding best in class approaches to RBQM, TMF, SSU - leveraging technology and data science whenever possible. Business owner for the technology roadmaps for the clinical value chain.Manage the Biopharma portfolio of programs through active portfolio management, including financial reviews, quality and operational KPIs and a structured approach to issue identification and resolution. Manages the operational and headcount budget for both internal functions, and project budgets - ensuring minimal overburn and effective financial management of all project deliverables.Supports Business Development activities to meet corporate and TA-specific revenue and growth target Identifies opportunities for the integration of technology, automation and data science within clinical operations and partners with Veridix leadership to embed technology innovation into client proposals.Identify targets for M&A and participate as the lead operational perspective in due diligence activities. Lead integration activities for operational functions.  Serves as the corporate escalation pathway for applicable operational and client-facing issues, engaging with sponsors and project staff to ensure the highest level of operational and scientific quality of research are met. Contribute a to Emmes’ global strategies, objectives, and initiatives as part of the Emmes Senior Leadership Team.s.
