HVAC Service Technician

Poorman's Heating and Air Conditioning is seeking a motivated and experienced HVAC technician to join our team. Experience is required, and compensation will be based on experience. Journeyman status is a plus, but not required. Must be knowledgeable with various heating and air conditioning systems. Must be able to work on their own, have good mechanical skills, and be customer-friendly.Duties include:Maintenance and service of customer's ventilation, air conditioners, furnaces, and other equipmentTroubleshoot problems and potential problems with HVAC systemsRead dispatch schedule and travel to each commercial or residential site.Communicate with customers and the Poorman's teamComply with work instruction and customer requestsFill out service tickets with job details and according pricesSkill Requirements:Minimum 3 years experience requiredMust comply with all safety standardsMust be able to provide customer serviceMust be able to meet physical demands i.e. (climb ladders, work in close spaces, work in hot/cold temperaturesMust have a valid Driver's LicensePassed drug testPay will be based on experience.Starting at $30/hour*EPA Cert is not required, but is nice to have.Benefits:401(k)Dental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programRetirement planVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftEducation:High school or equivalent (Required)Experience:HVAC: 3 years (Required)License/Certification:Driver's License (Required)**PLEASE NO RECRUITERS OR STAFFING COMPANIES
