Join Our Team as a Forensic Pathologist Anatomic and Clinical Pathology ExpertWe are seeking a highly qualified Forensic Pathologist specializing in both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology to play a critical role in our forensic investigations. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to vital public health and justice efforts through performing house and coroner autopsies in collaboration with Reading Hospital. Be part of a dedicated team committed to excellence in forensic pathology, making a tangible difference in the community.Required Skills:* Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. * Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. * Valid medical license to practice in the applicable state. * Proven experience in forensic pathology, including conducting autopsies and related procedures. * Strong knowledge of forensic cases, legal documentation, and chain of custody procedures. * Excellent diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and professionalism. * Ability to work independently and manage variable caseloads efficiently.Nice to Have Skills:* Prior experience with house autopsies and coroner autopsies. * Additional certifications in forensic pathology or related fields. * Experience working within hospital-based forensic services. * Familiarity with forensic case management software and reporting tools. * Compassionate communication skills with law enforcement, legal professionals, and families.Preferred Education and Experience:* MD or DO with fellowship training in Forensic Pathology. * At least 3 years' experience in forensic or hospital pathology settings. * Demonstrated success handling diverse forensic cases and autopsy procedures.Other Requirements:* Flexibility to cover various shifts and fluctuating caseloads, including weekends. * Availability for scheduled coverage on specific dates, including February, May, June, and October. * Willingness to undertake licensure, certification, and travel reimbursements as applicable. * This role offers an hourly pay rate of $1.00, with wages commensurate with experience and qualifications.If you are a dedicated forensic pathology professional ready to impact the justice and healthcare systems positively, we encourage you to apply today.
