As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to support our high-volume eCommerce and distribution operations.
Position Overview
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing the full-cycle AR process across multiple online sales channels and warehouse distribution activities. This role ensures accurate revenue recording, timely collections, reconciliation of marketplace settlements, and coordination with internal teams including Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and Warehouse Management.
The ideal candidate has experience in eCommerce, inventory-based businesses, or distribution environments and thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven setting.
Key Responsibilities
eCommerce & Marketplace Reconciliation
Support in reconciling daily and monthly sales settlements from online marketplaces and payment processors
Monitor deductions, refunds, promotional adjustments and Paypal disputes
Support in researching and resolving discrepancies between ERP records and marketplace reports, setting up processes for new vendors
Ensure accurate revenue recognition and proper recording of fees
Customer & B2B Receivables
Manage invoicing and collections for wholesale, retail partners, and bulk orders
Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
Resolve customer refunds and fraud issues in collaboration with Sales and Customer Service
Warehouse & Distribution Support
Coordinate with warehouse teams to verify shipments related to invoiced orders
Support inventoryrelated revenue adjustments and returns processing
Financial Reporting & Compliance
Post daily cash receipts and reconcile bank deposits
Assist with monthend close activities, meeting deadlines and ensuring all checks have receipts
Support internal and external audit requests
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Process sales tax monthly, quarterly and annually for all states and municipalities
Qualifications
2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience
Experience in eCommerce, retail distribution, warehousing, or highvolume transactional environments required
Strong understanding of marketplace settlements and payment processing
Experience with ERP/accounting systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations)
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Experience working with multiwarehouse operations
Familiarity with chargebacks, deductions, and logistics billing
Experience in highSKU, fastgrowth retail environments
