Job Title: Java Back-End Developer/Full Stack Developer
Location: McLean, VA (Onsite)
Duration: ContractMOI: In-PersonKey Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Java and Spring framework Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices Collaborate with front-end developers, architects, and product teams Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization Integrate with databases and third-party systems Ensure application security, reliability, and scalability Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Java (8/11/17+)Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security
- Experience with Microservices Architecture
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and web services
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git)
- Experience with build tools (Maven/Gradle)
- Understanding of Docker/Kubernetes
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform)
- Knowledge of Kafka or messaging systems
- Experience with OAuth2/JWT authentication
- Familiarity with DevOps practices
- Prior experience in financial services or enterprise applications
