New Sales and Service Representative

Smith Power Products is hiring a New Sales & Service Representative to grow market share and serve as the primary, boots-on-the-ground customer contact across the Mountain West. This in-person role blends new service contracts, technical support, and customer relationship management, with a strong emphasis on field presence and long-term account growth.What You’ll DoGrow market share by developing new customers and expanding existing accountsBe the face of Smith Power Products in the field with consistent on-site customer engagementIdentify, develop, and close new engine sales opportunitiesSupport engine installations, commissioning, and startup activitiesCoordinate service support, warranty claims, and maintenance programsAct as the technical liaison between customers, service teams, and OEMsGather market and competitor intelligence to support territory growthWhat We’re Looking ForExperience in sales or service contracts and negotiation Strong knowledge of diesel and/or natural gas enginesProven ability to build trust and relationships in the fieldComfortable working independently across a large territoryWillingness to travel extensively within NM, UT, WY, and COPreferred ExperienceFamiliarity with CAT, Cummins, MTU, Waukesha, Kohler, or similar enginesMechanical or technical backgroundWhy Smith Power ProductsHigh-impact role focused on territory growth and market share expansionAutonomy to manage your territory and customer relationshipsStrong internal service and technical support teamCompetitive compensation with performance-based incentives
