Our CNC Machinists produce high precision components according to the customer's print, specifications, and guidelines. CNC Machinists will produce components according to the rate determined by Camcraft. Machinists will set up and operate CNC lathes and Mills as we partner with our customers in the development of their latest products. Qualifications:Candidates must have some prior CNC experience.Read blueprint and job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances.Produce high precision components according to the blueprintPut quality first, demonstrates attention to detail, is willing to learn and train others and is experienced in close-tolerance machining. Operates CNC machine equipment to machine metallic and nonmetallic workpieces, inspect parts to ensure compliance to print specifications.Observe operation of machine and verifies conformance of machined workpiece to specifications.Operates machines and equipment other than machine tools.Complete in process inspection sheets.Demonstrate attention to detail.This position will NOT supervise anyone.Contribute to building a positive team spirit.Able to read and interpret prints.Firm understanding of GDT.Experience with hard turn machining and close tolerances +.0001.Start the machine and perform start up inspectionEnsure that proper gauging is being used for the jobProduce high precision components at ratePerform all necessary part inspection using gauging instruments specified in the inspection sheetPerform necessary statistical process controlClean the workstation, check machine fluid levels and refill as neededUnderstand company software and other related Camcraft operating systemsFollows established safety practices and requirements pertaining to the type of work involvedOther duties as assigned Benefits: We offer medical (PPO), health saving account, flexible spending, dependent flex spending, dental, vision, paid vacation, paid holidays, short/long term disability, 401K with company match, life insurance/AD&D, accident plan, critical illness plan, hospital indemnity plan, legal plan and much more!
