Python Developer with MongoDBLocation: Concord / Charlotte, NCWork Model: Hybrid / OnsiteEmployment Type: ContractJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Python Developer with strong MongoDB expertise to join our development team in the Concord/Charlotte, NC area. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing scalable backend applications and APIs using Python, working with MongoDB databases, and integrating applications with enterprise systems.Key Responsibilities• Design, develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications and backend services.• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Python.• Work extensively with MongoDB, including database design, queries, indexing, aggregation, and performance optimization.• Develop scalable and high-performance backend solutions.• Integrate MongoDB with Python applications and external systems.• Troubleshoot application, database, and integration issues.• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code.• Participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices.• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders.• Implement unit and integration testing for applications and APIs.• Optimize application and database performance.• Work with Git and standard software development lifecycle processes.Required Skills• 5+ years of experience in Python development.• Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB.• Strong knowledge of Python frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django.• Experience developing REST APIs / Web Services.• Strong understanding of MongoDB queries, aggregation, indexing, and schema design.• Experience with microservices architecture.• Knowledge of SQL/relational databases is a plus.• Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.• Strong understanding of software development and debugging practices.• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Preferred Skills• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.• Experience with Kafka or other messaging systems.• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.• Experience with automated testing using PyTest/UnitTestContact:Snehil Mishra📧 snehil@ampstek.com📞 Desk: 609-360-2673 Ext. 125🔗 LinkedIn🌐 www.ampstek.com
