Job OverviewWe are an Adult Residential Facility (ARF) operating Level 3 and Level 4 homes on the same private property, offering a Lead DSP to support the Administrator. Our home is built on person‐centered care, structure, and teamwork. We value staff who are dependable, calm, and ready to contribute to a collaborative environment where input truly matters.We are growing, and hours will increase with each new resident placement, creating a clear pathway into leadership for the right person. This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow, bring ideas, and help maintain a consistent, supportive home. We are seeking a Lead DSP with a strong personality, quick thinking, the ability to multi‐task, and professionalism under pressure. A minimum of 2 years recent and continual employment is required for Lead consideration, demonstrating commitment, stability, and reliability in a structured care setting.DSP DutiesAssist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), routines and schedules in reminders, light assistance.Administer medications and document accuratelySupport & promote independence, we are a teaching home.Assist in meal preparationJournaling to reflecting each resident's day, participation, and progress.Communicate effectively w/staff and leadership to maintain consistency & structure.Drive in company vehicle to any needed appt, when needed.Share ideas, participate in team discussions, help create a positive learning atmosphere.Maintain a safe, respectful, home‐like environment at all time.DSP Lead - Guide the flow of the shift, ensure routines and schedules are followed, and support DSPs with clear direction.Assist with guiding new staff, modeling expectations, and supporting team development.Problem Solving — Think quickly, multi‐task, and respond confidently to shift needs or unexpected changes.Experience in some Administrative duties to assist the Administator.Requirements:Must live within Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, or Camarillo, Oxnard areaMonday–Friday, 2pm–6pm to start, increasing with each new residentStrong personality with quick decision‐making skillsAbility to multi‐task and stay organized even under pressure2 years of continual employment in a similar roleInterest in growing into a Lead DSP positionDesire to grow as the home expands and hours increaseCompany Description Join a team that shows up with heart.
