Functions under direct supervision of RN in all areas of the ASC (Recovery Room, Preop, Extended Stay, Endoscopy, and OR)Take the lead role at Patient Care Technician for role modeling / precepting, liaison between materials management and nurses to ensure supplies and equipment are available for patient useYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:High school or GEDBLS through American Heart Association2+ years of NA, MA or PCT in an ASC/Surgical center setting or 2 + yrs NA, MA or PCT with KSC ASC expComputer Knowledge (basic)Proven to answer incoming calls and triage appropriatelyProven to respond to patient questions and provide information based on scripted responsesProven to document interaction in the EMR appropriatelyDemonstrated clear communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Graduate from approved MA/NA programCertified PCT/MA/NABilingualPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.15 to $28.80 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
