Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesApply deep technical expertise in electronics, PCBAs, functional testing, and assembly processes to identify and implement supply chain improvements.Lead efforts to reduce scrap and improve yield in PCBA manufacturing, including supplier collaboration and root cause analysis.Evaluate and implement electronic component replacements due to obsolescence, including circuit redesign and design-for-manufacturing (DFM) assessments.Ensure compliance with evolving global safety and regulatory standards, including EMI/EMC testing as needed.Participate in cross-functional governance processes to prioritize and resource projects across quality, delivery, and cost dimensions.Manage a range of technical projects using project management and Six Sigma/LEAN tools, while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with external resources.Conduct quality investigations and implement corrective actions in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.Assess supplier capacity and proactively address potential constraints to maintain continuity of supply.Support design changes and new product introductions, ensuring robust manufacturing processes and documentation.Lead projects involving raw materials and finished goods across multiple suppliers and internal teams, often across time zones and cultures.Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in procurement, quality, planning, and design to drive results and manage risks.Continuously expand technical knowledge across materials, processes, and manufacturing technologies.Manage project budgets from justification through implementation and closeout, including cost savings documentation.Serve as a technical liaison to external suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with operational goals.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (7-10+ years preferred).Strong background in electronics troubleshooting and PCBA manufacturing.Demonstrated project management experience with cross-functional teams.Proficiency in Six Sigma, LEAN, or Process Excellence methodologies (certification preferred).Excellent communication skills across organizational levels and global teams.Experience in regulated manufacturing environments, preferably medical devices.
