Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician (Near Babson Park, FL) Are you a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician seeking a rewarding locum tenens opportunity in a growing community near Babson Park, FL? We're looking for skilled and experienced physicians (full-time and part-time) to join our team and provide high-quality care to patients experiencing acute medical emergencies. This is a locum tenens position with a 3-month contract (with the possibility to extend) and offers a dynamic work environment.What We Offer:High Patient Volume & Advanced Facilities: Our fully integrated Emergency Department sees approximately 15,000 patients annually. We offer a well-equipped environment with 22 emergency room beds, 7 dedicated fast-track rooms, advanced patient monitoring equipment, and a pediatric treatment room to ensure optimal care for all patients.24/7 Physician Coverage & Supportive Environment: Our Emergency Department operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with physician coverage around the clock. Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to provide comprehensive care.Streamlined Technology: Utilize the efficient Meditech P-doc EMR system for streamlined patient documentation and M-Modal Dictation software for efficient charting.Flexibility: We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities to suit your schedule.Compensation & Benefits: We offer a competitive compensation package with comprehensive benefits (details provided during the interview) and may cover your travel expenses (flight, rental car/mileage, and lodging) depending on circumstances.Qualifications:Board-certified/eligible in Emergency Medicine (MD or DO) and Emergency Medicine residency training required (ABEM or AOBEM)Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients and families in stressful situationsExpertise in the evaluation and management of acute medical emergencies, including critical care scenariosAbility to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment with sound judgment and decision-making skillsClean background check and no malpractice historyAdditional Information:This location offers a unique opportunity to practice medicine in a growing community near Babson Park, FL.
