POSITION IS LOCATED IN TORRANCE, CAAbout The RoleWe are seeking a Mobile App Developer to help deliver innovative and meaningful digital experiences that enhance customer engagement. This role will be responsible for leading mobile architecture, development, production support, and solutioning across both Android and iOS platforms. We’re looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with deep expertise in native mobile development, a strong grasp of modern mobile architectures, and experience integrating with third-party services. Familiarity with hybrid frameworks is a plus.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership: Guide and mentor, the mobile development team to ensure successful delivery of projectsProject Ownership: Collaborate with stakeholders to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain mobile applicationsArchitecture & Design: Build scalable and maintainable solutions for complex business challengesNative Development: Lead development for Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C) platformsIntegration & Security: Work with RESTful APIs, OAuth, JWT, and third-party SDKsAutomotive Integration: Implement and maintain CarPlay and Android Auto featuresQuality Assurance: Ensure high standards through code reviews, debugging, and performance optimizationDocumentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentationCross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers and other stakeholdersRequired Technical Skills:4+ years of experience in mobile and smartwatch app developmentExpertise in native Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C)Strong understanding of authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT) and API integrationExperience with CarPlay and Android AutoProficient in debugging and performance optimizationFamiliarity with MQTT and real-time communicationExperience integrating third-party SDKsRequired Soft Skills:Leadership & Ownership: Proactive in driving initiatives and delivering resultsCollaboration: Strong team player in cross-functional settingsCommunication: Able to clearly convey technical concepts to diverse audiencesProblem-Solving: Analytical and solution-oriented mindsetAdaptability: Comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic environmentsMentorship: Supportive of junior developers and committed to team growthOptional but Preferred Skills:Experience with hybrid frameworks (React Native, Flutter, AngularJS, NodeJS)Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile appsUnderstanding of mobile security best practicesExperience in Agile/Scrum environmentsAutomotive domain and Digital Services experience3+ years of big 4 consulting experience is preferredA stable work history with large enterprise organizationsThe hiring range for this position is $55.00 to $62.00 per hour, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay rate actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
