X-Ray Technologist - Grand Blanc, MI

A specialized opportunity is available for an experienced CT Technologist to perform advanced diagnostic imaging using computed tomography equipment. You will be responsible for accurately positioning patients and capturing high-quality cross-sectional images to assist in the detection and evaluation of various pathologies. This role offers the chance to work with a diverse patient population including scheduled exams, inpatients, outpatients, and emergency cases, with coverage extending to evenings, weekends, and holidays.Key Responsibilities:Operate CT scanners, power injectors, and post-processing equipment to produce diagnostic-quality imagesAdjust imaging protocols tailored to individual patient needs while maintaining national repeat rate standardsPerform general radiography exams as needed and assist radiologists during invasive procedures like biopsies and abscess drainagesObtain thorough patient histories, explain procedures clearly to patients, and ensure positive patient identificationMaintain knowledge of all diagnostic imaging procedures, file room processes, and front desk operationsSupport technologist-level research and keep current with emerging imaging techniques and protocolsCommunicate effectively with patients and radiologists to optimize care and imaging outcomesDesired Experience and Qualifications:Certification and current licensure as a CT Technologist (RRT preferred)Proficient knowledge of CT equipment operation and diagnostic imaging protocolsAbility to work independently and adapt protocols based on patient conditionsStrong interpersonal and communication skills to explain procedures and provide patient comfortFamiliarity with diagnostic imaging terminology and hospital workflowLocation Highlights: Positioned in Grand Blanc, Michigan, this role offers a convenient commute with quick access to major highways.
