Learn more about the benefits of joining Team UES and our core values at careers.teamues.com.Position OverviewThe Project Engineer III is a senior technical expert and project leader responsible for overseeing complex engineering assignments, guiding cross-functional teams, and ensuring the technical excellence of deliverables. This role plays a key part in client engagement, staff mentorship, project strategy, and business development efforts.ResponsibilitiesLead the design, planning, and execution of complex engineering projects across disciplines or regions.Oversee full project lifecycles including budgeting, risk mitigation, technical delivery, and quality assurancePrepare, review, and sign off on technical reports, calculations, and design documents.Supervise and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, providing performance feedback and coaching.Ensure projects meet scope, schedule, safety, quality, and regulatory expectationsInterface directly with clients, regulatory agencies, and senior leadership to ensure project alignment and client satisfactionIdentify business opportunities and contribute to strategic project pursuits and proposalsDrive innovation, process improvements, and integration across departments or offices.Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Construction, or Geotechnical Engineering (Master’s preferred) 10+ years of engineering experience with increasing responsibility. Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required Demonstrated expertise in engineering design, project management, and client interaction. Proficiency in technical software and tools used in the engineering discipline Excellent leadership, communication, and business acumen. Ability to manage multiple projects and teams across locations.Travel RequirementsThis position requires moderate travel, approximately up to 40% of the time, in support of businessobjectives and client engagements. Travel may be both scheduled and on short notice, depending onproject needs. Destinations typically include job sites, field locations, or regional offices, where work maybe conducted in outdoor or operational environments.
