This includes greeting visitors, managing financial transactions such as deposits and credit card documentation, preparing financial reports, and maintaining accurate records for all school funds.Office. This role requires close collaboration with school personnel, vendors, and the district's finance department.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Perform general office routines and administrative tasks in a school setting.Manage school key assignments and maintain accurate records.Process and maintain requisitions and purchase orders, including managing inventory, bids, and activity/operational accounts.Understand and manage schools budgets and line items, collaborating with vendors as directed.Accurately code line items for school purchases.Enter and track work orders.Submit time sheets for various personnel, including substitutes, custodians, lunch duty staff, after-school program staff, summer school staff, and game workers.Manage check-in/ check-out process for all cash boxes used in games, concession, fundraisers, dances, and other school events.Oversee payments to officials for athletic events, as applicable to the school site.Administer the timekeeping system, including maintaining records, tracking absences, and processing time adjustment forms.Collaborate with clubs, coaches, and teachers on activity accounts.Liaise with the district's purchasing department on school purchases.Comply with all Board of Education policies, administrative regulations, Public Education Department guidelines and relevant local, state and federal laws.Adhere to finance department policies and procedures.Support district and school efforts to keep CCSD safe and secure.Complete all required annual trainings.Adhere to New Mexico Code of Ethical Responsibility of the Education Profession (NMAC 6.60.9.8).Perform other duties as assigned, reasonably related to the scope of the position.Attend SAO training as requested by the supervisor and finance director.Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDExperience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related financial clerical role.Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Tyler ERP Pro, or similar financial systems) Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Gmail. Calendar).Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledge of Dine language, culture, and history preferredStrong communication skills and customer service skillsFoundational understanding of basic accounting principles.
