JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Assembly parts and components for Lift Table department Able to fabricate hydraulic components with proper parts, equipment and processes Have some working knowledge on assembling mechanical components Understanding of basic electronics and electrical components Cut, file, fits, punches, reams, rivets, forms, and / or clamping of individual parts to achieve proper fit, form and function of mechanical assemblies Follow scheduling dates to meet production goals Work efficiently and effectively on diversified tasks Perform quality checks and document them as required Support and maintain a 6S working environment Incorporate electrical components into mechanical assemblies as required Other duties as assigned HEALTH AND SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES Work in compliance with the provisions of the OHSA, regulations and internal policies and procedures Using or wearing the equipment, PPE that Blue Giant requires Reporting to his or her supervisor and contravention of the OHSA, regulations, or Blue Giant policies and procedures. Reporting any observed hazards to the supervisor Reporting any risks or potential risks of violence or harassment encountered in the workplace immediately to supervisor Not removing or making ineffective any protective device without providing an adequate temporary substitute. When the work is completed, the original protective device must be replaced immediately Not using or operating any equipment, machine, or device working in a manner that may endanger anyone Knowing, understanding and implementing safe work practices and procedures Attend all required Health and Safety training programs (ex: WHMIS, orientation), and applying knowledge to daily operating procedures at Blue Giant REQUIRED STRENGTHS Capable of reading Engineering drawings Able to lift a maximum of 50lbs Work with little or no supervision Excellent communication and ability to work well with others in a team environment
