Field Applications Engineer - Material Handling, Food & Beverage
Job Description: Provide technical support to the Material Handling and Food & Beverage Strategic Teams
Expediting the sales cycle for support intensive products
Developing strong relationships with both sellers and target customers
Act as the Project Manager for complicated system solutions
Lead the effort to promote best practices for complex solutions
Develop reference materials, white papers, and support videos
Provide pre-sale and post-sale technical support
Attend sales calls, provide selling materials, and presentations
Define, coordinate, and prioritize customer feedback for engineering requirements
Promote and train on new products
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering and related field
3-5 years of related experience –OR—7+ years of experience in automated controls
3+ years of technical sales experience in the industrial automation sector
Experience with sensors, measurement and condition monitoring solutions, remote I/O, lighting applications and/or PLC programming.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Ability to follow-up and maintain strong, successful relationships
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments, and projects
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proven track-record for proposing and implementing new solutions
Experience using various networks, such as ethernet, IP, Profinet, Modbus, etc.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time with overnight stays
