The Account Manager’s primary duty and responsibility is to give customers a “one stop shop” for all their technology needs, while providing an unmatched customer experience to all of CDW’s new and existing customers.Key Areas of ResponsibilityProvide sales and service to new and existing customers through inbound callsMeet or exceed assigned sales quotas and ensure other performance goals are metSell additional services or products by recognizing opportunities to upsell solutionsProactively manage personal quote pipeline to ensure CDW gains every possible sales opportunityProactively call out to customers when needed for service related mattersActs as the first point of contact for assistance with product info, order placement, and general inquiries regarding company programsDemonstrate ability to close sales and overcome customer objectionsMaintain CDW’s values and Philosophies of SuccessRequired SkillsPossesses excellent verbal communication skills – vocabulary and articulationBasic computer skills – experience with Microsoft preferredDemonstrable organizational and time management skills – ability to multi-task in an ever-changing environmentAbility to achieve success individually and as part of a team in a highly structured and regulated work environmentPersistence combined with a positive attitude and approach to work and others – self-motivating work styleAbility to solve problems and resolve conflict directly in multiple communication channelsMature, positive and collaborative interpersonal skillsQualificationsMinimum QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent1 year of call center experience1 year of sales experienceOther Required QualificationsStrong interest in salesMust be able to work independently and in a team-oriented environmentProven ability to multitask and balance multiple priorities in an ever-changing environmentProven ability to provide timely solutions, as customer issues must be resolved quickly and efficiently.Strong organization skillsThe information in this position description is intended to convey information about the key responsibilities and requirements of the position.
