We place a priority on promoting a supportive and collegial team environment and enhancing staff’s experience through career development and educational opportunities.Job OverviewCMS' Qualified Entity Program (also known as the Medicare Data Sharing for Performance Measurement Program) enables organizations to receive Medicare Parts A and B claims data and Part D prescription drug event data for use in evaluating provider performance. Organizations approved as Qualified Entities (QEs) are required to use the Medicare data to produce and publicly disseminate CMS-approved reports on provider performance. QEs are also permitted to create non-public analyses and provide or sell such analyses to authorized users. In addition, QEs may provide or sell combined data, or provide Medicare claims data alone at no cost, to certain authorized users.The role of the Qualified Entity Certification Program (QECP) Portfolio Manager (PM) is to provide technical assistance to applicants which include nonprofit organizations, hospitals, and national health care organizations.Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for pipeline and certified QEs throughout the 4 phases of the application process, as well as ongoing program administration. Prepare draft responses to QE questions based on existing resources and in collaboration with project leadership. Facilitate meetings and technical assistance conference calls between project team and QE stakeholder meetings (e.g. develop agenda, host, and lead discussion) Validate information submitted by entities as part of their QE program application. After reviewing the applications, generate and send validation findings email to entities after review by project leadership, if needed. Provide project leadership with updates prior to scheduled meetings and update relevant documents and systems. Update the Salesforce CRM at least twice weekly for their entities. QualificationsRequired: U.S. citizen or lived in the U.S. for 3 of the last 5 years Bachelor’s degree 2 or more years of post-collegiate work experience Must be highly organized Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability and confidence to learn new skills and acquire content knowledge quickly and independently Proficiency in MS Office suites including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Preferred But Not Required Bachelors in a health or public policy related field Experience as a Salesforce CRM or other CRM user One or more of the following skills and/or experience: Project coordination and general administrative support (e.g., Meeting Notes and Action Items) Basic qualitative research: gray literature / environmental scanning and abstracting Marketing communications, editing, graphic design Basic or advanced knowledge of health care policy and experience in regulatory analysis Experience working with medical claims data The salary range provided represents the estimated compensation for new hires in this position, applicable across all locations.
