The business prioritizes safety, operational discipline and continuous improvement, offering engineers real autonomy and direct access to decision-makers on site.What you’ll be doingLead mine planning and design activities, delivering accurate short and long-term surface mine plans using CAD toolsOversee drill and blast design, optimizing fragmentation, safety and production outcomesConduct pit mapping, geotechnical monitoring and slope stability assessments to support safe operationsAct as a technical point of contact on site, supporting production teams and stepping into supervisory duties when requiredWhat you’ll bringProven experience in surface mining operations, with hands-on exposure to planning and drill & blastStrong understanding of pit design, geotechnical considerations and production optimizationDegree in mining engineering, geology or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experienceAbility to influence site teams, with strong analytical thinking and confidence operating in demanding environmentsWho this suits You’re a technically strong mining professional who enjoys being close to operations and making decisions that directly impact performance.
