Gallus EM 260 Press Operator

The Press Operator II safely runs and maintains flexographic presses to deliver quality product to our customers!Job Summary:Press Operator II is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of flexographic presses to produce high-quality products. The operator will follow established procedures for setup, maintenance, and quality control, ensuring that customer requirements are met. This role is essential for the smooth functioning of the production department and the overall success of the business.Supervisory Responsibilities:NoneDuties/Responsibilities:Set up, operate, and maintain flexographic presses: Comco and Gallus EM 260 (formerly Arsoma) in a safe, efficient manner meeting all customer requirements (quality, safety, and on time delivery).Perform routine TPM (Total Preventative Maintenance) on equipment and necessary cleaning as required.Works with Press Helpers and Finishing Operators.Accurately report labor sheets, hour by hour tracking, and shift change turnover.Participates in biannual physical inventory count.Other duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:Mechanical skillsetAnalytical thinkingExcellent verbal and written communicationAbility to work in a team environmentDependable and dedicatedTask orientationEducation and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent.2-4 years of related experience required.Experience running Gallus presses preferred.Physical Requirements:Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, for prolonged periods.Moving objects up to 50 pounds.Starting salary range: $24.00 - 29.00/hour, actual compensation will be based on experience.About Us: CCL Industries Inc. employs approximately 26,300 people operating 213 production facilities in 42 countries with corporate offices in Toronto, Canada, and Framingham, Massachusetts.
