Software Delivery Lead and Support
Software Delivery & Support Lead (Safety/HSE Focus) | Contract · 6–8 months | Indiana, USA (Onsite 3+ days/week)We're looking for an experienced Software Delivery & Support Lead to drive the implementation of safety/HSE applications and other site software solutions at a pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Indiana. This is a 6–8 month contract role with broad ownership — spanning delivery, validation, vendor management, and ongoing support.You'll be the day-to-day point of contact between site stakeholders and vendors/IT partners, while also rolling up your sleeves on CSV documentation and keeping multiple concurrent projects on track.What you'll doLead delivery and implementation of safety/HSE applications — managing timelines, milestones, and vendor accountability across concurrent projectsManage multiple external vendors — ensuring deliverables are on-spec, on-time, and aligned with site and company standardsAuthor and oversee CSV documentation — validation plans, protocols, and reports, including review of vendor-authored deliverablesLead end-to-end CSV efforts for new deployments — from risk assessments and requirements traceability through IQ/OQ/PQ execution and closureTransition delivered applications into steady-state support — owning user onboarding, access management, training, and system administrationManage compliance and incident management processes for supported applications within GxP requirementsDocument support procedures, system configurations, and runbooks for long-term sustainability and clean handoff at contract endWhat we're looking forExperience leading software delivery in a regulated pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment — GxP comfort is non-negotiableHands-on CSV experience — able to author validation docs and critically review vendor deliverables (GSOP-1201 or equivalent familiarity preferred)Proven vendor management skills — able to hold multiple vendors accountable simultaneously without losing track of dependenciesStrong understanding of application support operations — user onboarding, access governance, incident/change managementFamiliarity with safety/EHS platforms preferred, but adaptable to the selected toolsetExcellent organizational skills — this role juggles delivery, validation, support, and vendor coordination all at onceClear communicator who can translate between technical vendor teams and non-technical site stakeholdersSelf-starter comfortable operating with autonomy in a greenfield environment
