Job description:Job SummaryWe are seeking a Cannabis Field Sampler to join our team for a Monday-Friday morning shift in the city of Monrovia The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, knowledge of sampling and operating a vehicle on a regular basis. In addition, the candidate must have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesFollow laboratory policies and CA regulations when collecting samples and transporting them with the company vehicleMaintain records of samples and transportation data as per internal policiesFollow good documentation practices when filling out Chain of Custodies, laboratory notebooks, paperwork, etc.Complete maintenance of vehicle when needed (e.g., taking vehicle for oil changes)Maintain sampling supply/equipment inventoryProvide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during sample collection and submissionPromote a professional company image through exemplary customer relationship skillsExperiencePrevious experience in driving/sampling and customer service is preferredPrevious experience with Good Documentation PracticesRequired SkillsRepetitive movement and standing.The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl.Driving up to 8 hours in a vehicle if neededBasic knowledge of vehicle operation and maintenanceLifting up to 25 - 50 lbsAbility to work in various environments including manufacturing facilities, outdoors, and inside distribution warehouses.The employee can be expected to work in areas where hazards associated are with, but not limited to, airborne pathogens, biological materials and hazardous substances.
