The position involves performing a series of tasks under close supervision while following documented work processes and safety guidelines. The operator contributes to overall production performance while ensuring equipment functionality, product quality, and customer satisfaction.Job DescriptionFollow all company policies and procedures related to workplace safety and product qualityMonitor and check equipment throughout the shift to ensure proper operationRead, understand, and accurately follow documented work processes and instructionsSupport team and division performance goalsRespond to internal and external customer needs in a timely and professional mannerBag finished products, collect samples, and perform testingManage spent carbon feed to reactivation furnaceSwitch tank feeds between carbon tanksCalibrate pH probesOperate filter press systemsRun and monitor facility wastewater treatment plantSort bottles by size and resin typeLoad and unload deliveries to and from regional branchesOperate forklifts to move materials throughout the facilityLoad and unload trucks safely and efficientlyEvacuate bottles as requiredShift: 1st (6am-1:30pm) and 2nd (1pm-9:30pm)Skills RequiredCompletion of site-specific safety training (required)Ability to read, understand, and follow instructionsStrong verbal communication skillsBasic math skillsAbility to sit, stand, see, and hear continuouslyFrequent walking, writing, and typingAbility to lift and carry up to 30 poundsAbility to climb stairs and perform occasional bending, reaching, pushing, and pullingAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writingAbility to operate a computer and use a telephoneCompletion of 40-hour hazardous waste operations trainingPreferred:3-5 years of manufacturing or plant experienceForklift operation experienceBasic computer knowledgeEducationHigh school diploma or GED r equired.Pay Rate$24.40 - $28.40 per hour (Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors)
