Commissioning & Field Service Specialist

This highly hands-on role requires a strong understanding of copper and aluminum rod mill systems and regular interaction with customers to support ongoing process and equipment improvements.Key Responsibilities:Supervise customer installations of SCR systemsInstall, configure, commission, and troubleshoot processing systems (pumps, motors, valves)Identify and implement process and equipment improvementsSupport system specification, installation, and modificationManage service programs including audits, vibration monitoring, and preventative maintenance (PM)Develop and maintain PM documentationTrain customers on equipment use and maintenanceAct as technical resource for customers and employeesDocument service visits and generate daily progress reportsAnalyze data and provide operational recommendationsInternational travel required (up to 25%, several weeks at a time)Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 15 years of hands-on experience in industrial equipment installation and maintenance5 years of experience in industrial environmentsAbility to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and OEM manualsStrong communication, analytical, and organizational skillsSelf-starter with minimal supervisionPreferred Qualifications: 10 years of direct experienceAutoCAD knowledge or willingness to learnExperience with project completion in industrial or technical fieldsJob Details: Level: Mid-LevelReports to: Electrical Systems ManagerTravel: Up to 25% (international)Salary Range: $90,000-$120,000Relocation: Partial assistanceVisa Support: Not availableOn-site Requirement: Yes, must report to Carrollton, GA locationBenefits: Medical, Dental, Vision InsuranceLife InsuranceRetirement PlansEquity OpportunitiesPaid Time OffWork-from-Home FlexibilityInclusive and diverse work environment
